The human brain is divided into two parts called hemispheres. Scientists have discovered that each hemisphere controls certain types of thinking. The left hemisphere of the brain controls logical thinking, mathematical calculations, putting things in order, etc. The right brain is more about seeing the big picture, sensing when things feel right or wrong, deciding what we like and dislike. We need both hemispheres working together to be successful in life. Creating a business card is a perfect example of the two hemispheres working in harmony to create a product.
The left side of the brain focuses on getting the information on the card correct. A business card with a wrong number or e-mail address is not worth much. The right side of the brain chooses the font, color scheme and layout of the information. After all, if the card isn't attractive, it will probably land in the trash.
